The light of the Mediterranean and the island of Mallorca inspires this collection, consisting of luminaires made from natural fabrics, tailored to each space, to bring to life the first project with the personal touch of the tennis player alongside the well-known hotel chain.

July 2023 – Decorluc, a company dedicated to manufacturing and designing custom-made decorative lighting, has completed a special new project for the Melià hotel chain: the Melià Zel Mallorca, a new brand born from the collaboration between the renowned hotel chain and Rafa Nadal on the beach of Palmanova in his native Mallorca. It is also the chosen location to host the latest opening of the famous gastronomic experience venue, Beso Beach, which has also selected Decorluc to illuminate its exclusive spaces.

For this project, Decorluc’s artisan designers have crafted a special collection that fits perfectly into the ambiance and spirit of this new location, where pure Mediterranean and Mallorcan essence prevails.

In the lighting collection designed for each area of this new hotel, which opened its doors this July, one can find elements intended to illuminate the Mediterranean courtyard that serves as the lobby and connects its different areas, reflecting the architects’ passion for freedom and outdoor living, which they sought to portray. In this special collection, all the outdoor lighting elements have been crafted from natural fabrics and wicker, harmoniously blending with the furniture and decor. Inside, there are lamps and luminaires that complement the overall design elements to create a cozy and unique atmosphere, both in its 165 sea-view rooms and in the common spaces.

The techniques and materials employed by Decorluc in this project contribute to conveying the values and Mediterranean essence that the hotel chain has envisioned for its new business venture.
