RIU DUNAMAR

CANCÚN

A work inspired by femininity and the motives of the flags of one of the most important days in Mexico: The Day of the Dead. The Riu Dunamar Hotel, located in Playa Mujeres in Cancun, has two large environments: one set with indirect decoration, made through panels worked to create overlays on the walls and ceilings of the motives of the November 2 streamers; and a second conceived through feminine forms, composed of handmade tubular lamps, which play with impossible geometric shapes. Each of the creative lines derives in its ramifications of simple and industrial style, with the metalwork as a mantra, to decorate the columns, rooms, and transitions of the hotel.
