In Petra, one of the most charming locations in the Mallorcan countryside, surrounded by traditional streets and buildings made from local marés stone, lies Hotel Can Rey. A space conceived as a retreat where architecture, nature and the Mediterranean essence come together to convey a sense of tranquillity and calm.
Decorluc has taken part in the design and creation of the hotel’s lighting, developing bespoke pieces for both the guest rooms and the different common areas. A lighting project designed to blend seamlessly with the hotel’s identity and enhance the serene and welcoming atmosphere that defines each of its spaces.
The luminaires combine materials such as natural fibres, fabrics, glass, wicker, steel and ceramic, bringing different textures, volumes and nuances to each piece. The choice of materials and the craftsmanship behind them create a natural dialogue between the hotel’s architecture and interior design.
Beyond their functional purpose, the lighting elements help reinforce the sense of retreat that defines Can Rey: warm light, natural materials and unique pieces that connect design, craftsmanship and Mediterranean essence.
